At the CSRA Business Center we believe a trade service organization or chamber of commerce should be a lot more than paying your dues to get a newsletter detailing the latest government self help program or a list of links to OTHER organizations that do little more than schedule banquets, seminars and places to spend your money. What good is a list of bid opportunities if your company cannot qualify for them due to lack of size or funding? A winning bid is of little use to you if you can't get the bonding or working capital to perform the contract.

While these issues may be relevant, they are far from the benefit structure that we believe the business community needs and wants.
We firmly believe that EVERY benefit offered by such organizations should have, as a basis, some connection to TANGIBLE means of starting, growing and making your business more efficient and profitable. If you are already a member of an organization such as a Chamber of Commerce, ask yourself one question: “Can I point to a dollar that came into my business because of my membership?”. Here is one that youmight ask of your chamber; Do you have any demographic information on your membership?”. Chances are the answers to either or both of those questions will make youwonder why you spend your money on membership fees.

We expect to see ways to not only save money but to earn it. We fully expect and intend for our members to realize a FINANCIAL benefit with every action we take on their behalf. We see no reason that there is not a CREDIT UNION, VENTURE CAPITAL SOURCE, BONDING COMPANY OR FINANCE ORGANIZATION established by us, for us and available to us as an organization if we indeed want one.

Plans are being developed to establish these institutions by the end of 2012. We encourage anyone and everyone who is interested in participating in these projects to contact us with your ideas.

We are an organization run by business owners who are dedicated to see not only a resurgence in our own individual businesses but that of our entire membership as well. We are a firm proponent and believer in the axiom: “A rising tide lifts all boats”. Anything that helps one part of our community helps us all.

HOW WE GOT STARTED
CSRA Business Center was formed in 2008 to serve the needs of the small business formerly neglected or under- served. Our service offerings run the full range of administrative, research, consulting and information services so vital to every business, large and small.

HOW IT WORKS Our members provide services to fellow members at member discounts, and to the general business community at normal rates. Services not offered by members are purchased by the center using volume discount negotiations.
WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN Some benefits offered by the center include but are not limited to:

* Tax Preparation (vested Sole proprietor)
* Preparation of bid proposals
* Scholarship Searches
* Business Plans
* Set up Bookkeeping system
* Personal or company resumes
* Incorporation, including registered agent services
* Start, stop, sell or buy a Business

* Grant Writing
* Inventory control and Auditing
* Accounts Receivable Factoring
* Answering Service with automatic call forwarding

Many other services are added daily by members
Savings are passed on to members. Some services are free or reduced rates for members and some are available by our members to the public at normal rates set by those member companies.

We hope you will give immediate consideration to becoming a member of the CSRA Business Center as soon as possible. The greater we build our membership the faster we can improve our benefit package and help all member firms grow and prosper.
WHERE WE ARE
While our primary office is in Augusta, Ga you do not have to be a local firm to become a member. In fact, we are seeking to establish branches all across the country, wherever small businesses feel the need of this type organization Your call or contact will be held in strictest confidence and there is no obligation.

Membership is FREE, no required meetings, YOU NEED NOT BE A LOCAL BUSINESS TO BECOME A MEMBER, no membership duties except to always consider patronizing the membership as a FIRST, not a last resort.
